The Foundation funding is to approved institutions and organizations. We do not fund individuals directly.
Our Grantmaking Process
The Foundation accepts and considers Letters of Inquiry from any qualified organization. The Foundation's Grant Program Committee meets 3 times/year and considers grant proposals at each of its meetings. We encourage qualified organizations to submit letters of inquiry through this site. Grant requests are reviewed regularly by staff and consultants. For a more descriptive look at the process, view the chart below.
Does your organization qualify to submit a Letter of Inquiry for funding from the Johnson Scholarship Foundation? All programs are delivered through partner institutions. In our programming, we employ strategies that assist growth and development in the institutions and students that we serve. In the Foundation’s scholarship programs, financial need on the part of the recipient is always a requirement.
